[Bristol-Birds] BBC Outer Banks

The Bristol Bird Club is considering having a field trip to the Outer Banks of
North Carolina in late May or early June. I suggest a 4 day trip. That would
give us a travel day with some birding coming and going, a day of coastal land
birding and a day to do a pelagic trip on a Brian Patteson tour.
Brian is holding a block for us up to 7 people to go out of Manteo on Saturday,
5/24, (Memorial Day Weekend). Cost would be $110. I need to let him know by
3/10 how many are going. There is very limited space on that trip.
To do this we will need to leave on Friday, May 23 and return on Monday, May
26. Of course there is the option of traveling separately and on different
days. Brian will not be on that boat but a talented leader will be.
We could also do a pelagic trip on Saturday, June 7 or Sunday June 8. There's
plenty of room on those trips. They are out of Cape Hatteras. Cost is $90.
Let me know by Monday 3/10 if you are interested in either of these trips. If
we go for the May trip we will have to send in our reservations and payments
within a week.
Ample lodging is currently available.
They run trips all the way into October.
