Fellow birders,

With the recent inclement weather making a long trip questionable and the
influx of warblers in Kingsport, we are putting together a last-minute
field trip to the Kingsport Birding Trail on Saturday, February 2nd.  We
will focus our efforts along Netherland Inn Road and the Riverfront Seafood
area where the Virginia's Warbler has been sited for so many days now.

Rob Biller has agreed to lead this trip and will be meeting folks at the
Welcome Center just off I-26 (between the I-26 / I-81 interchange and the
Meadowview exit).  If you intend on joining, please be there by 8:00 AM ET
or you can make your way to the KBT (Riverfront Seafood) and meet everyone
there shortly thereafter.

This truly is a unique opportunity as the Virginia's Warbler is a first
state record and many of the warblers being seen are not commonly found in
the winter.

As for our previously discussed trip to Burke's Garden, we will try to
schedule that for February 16th assuming the weather cooperates.
