Hiya Birders,
The Bristol Bird Club's annual annual Christmas party is tomorrow -
Saturday, December 3rd, 2016! We have a return invitation from the Blaylocks
to meet in their home at 24199 Redstone Drive in Bristol, VA. We'll gather
there at about 6:30 p.m.
The festivities will begin with a potluck supper. Men, women and children
are welcome to bring comestables for consumption by the group. Judging by past
experience, we can expect interesting and delicious gastronomic offerings. As
for drinks, it's fair to assume the Blaylocks can provide both hot and cold
water. If you'd like something else to drink, play it safe and bring it
yourself. The BBC will provide plates, cups, and eating utensils.
And, of course, there is the essential social part of interacting with each
other informally - and more formally in our usual so-called Chinese gift
exchange. If you would like to participate in that activity, bring an
inexpensive gift ($5-10) for each one in your party.
And Kevin will proudly show anyone the parrots which share the Blaylock
home.
You don't have to belong to the Bristol Bird Club to join us. Come one and
come all!
