The Bristol Bird Club held their annual banquet last evening at Addilynn United Methodist Church. The ladies of the church prepared a great meal. Judy Roach, Mary Erwin, and John Moyle worked hard to make it a very enjoyable evening. Thanks for all of their work. Dr. Steven Wallace of ETSU and Gray Fossil Site presented a very interesting program about the findings at the site in Gray, Tennessee. We are blessed to have such a site and museum in our area. Who knew that there were that many songs with birds in the lyrics? John Hay's table came up with 34 titles! Two other tables had 25 titles and 22 titles. Other tables declined to report their number. Some wanted to challenge that the songs be sung but we did not go that far. ************************************************* BRISTOL BIRDS NET LIST MENDOTA HAWK MIGRATION DAILY AND SEASON TOTALS CAN BE FOLLOWED DAILY ON THE HAWK MIGRATION ASSOC.
