Rick Knight called me at about 9:30 a.m. to report that he saw 4 Avocets, partly in breeding plumage, at Austin Springs. They were along the shore by Humphreys' farm and were viewable from Heider Hill Rd. across the river. I just got back from a meeting, so couldn't send this report until now.
