[Bristol-Birds] Allan Trently hired as a TVA zoologist

Allan Trently, a Northeast Tennessee birder who has been active in the
Bristol Bird Club and the Herndon Chapter of TOS at Elizabethton, has been
hired by the Tennessee Valley Authority.  He will begin work in a couple of

Trently will be a terrestial zoologist with the TVA Regional Natural
Heritage Program at Norris, TN.  Allan will be working under Travis Hill
Henry, Endangered Species Specialist.

Allan, who researched raven populations in East Tennessee for his M.S. at
ETSU, has been teaching biology at Northeast State Technical Community
College at Blountville.  He will continue his duties there each Friday until
the end of the term.

He has also been working for several summers as a  Seasonal Ecologist with the 
Southern Appalachian Highlands Conservancy.
