Birders: ( 3 Double Crested Cormorants, 5 Great Egrets, 2 Eastern Kingbirds, in Hamblen & Grainger Counties ) This morning on July 13, 2005 Shane and Dennis Adams went to birdwatching at Grainger County Access Boat Ramp in Grainger County & the other Access Boat Ramp on Boat Launch Rd. part of Cherokee Park between Hamblen County & Grainger County on the left side of the Hamblen County Boat Dock in Cherokee Park South of Hamblen County here is the lists of Birds I saw today they are: 3 Double Crested Cormorants in the middle of the Cherokee Lake on the right side of OLN Marshall Bridge going into Grainger County and on the left side of the OlN Marshall Bridge coming into Hamblen County, 5 Great Egrets (2 of the Great Egrets are in the cove in Hamblen County near the Hamblen County's TWRA Field Office & 2 Great Egrets are sitting in a tree next to the Hamblen County Boat Dock in Cherokee Park South of Hamblen County also in the same location in the middle of the Cherokee Lake with the Double Crested Cormorants and Great Blue Heron swimming ) Black Crowned Night Heron in the trees in The Cherokee Park behind the Hamblen County Boat Dock, 2 Eastern Kingbirds at the other Cherokee Park Access Boat Ramp on the Boat Launch Rd between Hamblen County and Grainger County & 4 Turkey Vultures standing on the bank drinking water in front of the Hamblem County Boat Dock in the Cherokee Park South of Hamblen County and 1 Egret flying near the Boat Dock in Grainger County.
