From the main menu, press enter until you see "create a
document". Press dot 4 to "open a document." Press enter, then
follow the prompts. You will have to select the folder, then the
document by pressing enter.

You have to be in edit mode. Put the cursor to the right of the
line you want to delete, then press dot 7 which is backspace.
