Hi Anne:
When you are using your BrailleSense with the power, do you disconnect the battery? Even though we don't have a BrailleSense, we've read enough to know that this option is available as a part of the unit.
Today is what the Lord has given us.
Be thankful, and keep smiling!!

Subject: [braille-sense] Battery life

I'm not sure if it's the way I'm using my unit or if I am having
a problem
but I am getting some odities with battery usage. I find that
there are
times when I lose a lot of charge over night. For example, when
I shut down
for the night I was at 17 percent. In the morning I was at 3
percent.
There are also times when I only lose 2 percent over night. What
is running
to use so much power? It doesn't make sense that a clock and
calendar would
require so much. I also find that the power level drops more
rapidly once
it hits 60 percent charged. I'm getting about 11 hours of actual
usage
although I managed about 8 once. Do I have a problem or is that
normal?
Other than that, I'm getting the hang of using my unit
efficiently. I am
having a bit of a problem with saving and retrieving items from
and to the
calculator but that's for another time. I'll read the help file
again and
I'll most likely get it! Have a nice day. Going to be about 60
and sunny!
