Daveed,

The list would welcome the discussion. Traffic here has been nonexistent for the most part, and a good analysis of the Braille Sense and its competetors is a great way to galvanize conversation.

Scott: I only asked for a private reply, because I know most lists don't like to get into discussions about competitive products, and often the topic then tends to wonder off into arguments pro and con, etc.

If anybody answers Daveed's question, I think it would benefit all on the list if the answer were given publicly, and not limited just to a private exchange.

Can you tell me, privately plese, why you obtained a Braille Sense, and how you would compare it to the Braille Note? I'm very curious! I'm trying to get a loan for a BS now, but my bank has balked, saying they can't give me a loan on a "special" product! --Daveed--At 09:53 AM 11/10/2006, you wrote:

Wow! This is the most traffic I have seen on this list in... well, probably ever. <smile> I never understood why everyone is so quiet. Surely people have things to say and questions to ask about the Braille Sense. I even joined the GW Micro list, as I figured more would be talked about concerning it, but no one ever spoke about it there either, and as I use JAWS for my screen reader and the traffic was heavy from the list, I had to unsubscribe. I really like my Braille Sense, and I had a Braille Note before. I was very fortunate to get one, as now I live in a place where no one even knows what a Braille Sense is. Anne, I know you'll have fun exploring your unit when you get it. And, it's not the Holidays quite yet, Curtis! What a daunting thought.

Oh, I do have a question. Robert, maybe you might know the answer to this. Do you know when the update will be out for the Braille Sense? I hear it will have support for MSN Messenger. Is this true?

Warmest regards to all.
