Dear all,
Members of the Botswana predator forum have been invited to join the listserve
below. It is based in the US but may be useful to members of the farming
community. If you would like to join the information follows:

Announcing the Livestock/Carnivore Conflict Prevention Listserv

The Livestock/Carnivore Conflict Prevention listserv links producers interested
in non-lethal, humane techniques to protect their livestock from conflict with
large carnivores. Across the U.S. and around the world, producers have
innovated practices to raise cattle, alpaca and bees within range of bears,
poultry near coyotes and eagles, and sheep and cattle in areas where wolves and
cheetah sometimes wander. These producers are uniquely able to act as an
information source for proactive means to prevent conflict. The
Livestock/Carnivore Conflict Prevention listserv enables discussion among
producers, researchers and others interested in non-lethal deterrent practices.
