Hi,

Yes, if you want to play Bookshare books on your NLS player, they need to be
in mp3 format. The NLS player only plays audio files. Bookshare books are
text daisy books and need to be converted to mp3 if you want to play them on
the NLS player.

Do I have to put books into .mp3 to make them play on my regular Nls
player? I am nnot srue if any of the files avilable already do that, and
Kurzweil will put them in that file format of mp3, but it is cumbersome, and
you can't do anything else with computer when using this. Anyone remember
Bookshare support number Need to talk to Rob, he is usually helpful. Take
care.

Hello everyone,
This may be old news to some but I tought I would share just te same. If
anyone as to file taxes tis yer and doesn't want to use a paid tax
preparation service or brave te lines at te local IRS office were tey will
prepare a personal return for free,

www.taxact.com
is completely accessible if you are doing it over the web. There is a cd
version and I can't attest to its functionality with screen readers but I
have used the web version for te past five or more tax years with minimal
trouble. The only drawback is the darn audio captia. There is a version wit
fillable forms (int int to our retired IRS employees) if you feel more
comfortable with that. Just a fyi if anyone is interested.
