Hello all -- I just subscribed to this list in hopes of getting some help
with a problem I started having this morning with VictorReader.
I have been downloading books from bookshare for months now and using VR
with JAWS with no problem. But this morning I downloaded 2 computer
textbooks -- ".NET and XML" and "C# in a Nutshell, 2nd edition".
For some reason when I downloaded and unpacked these books and fired up
VictorReader and clicked on "update bookshelf", VR did not pick up these 2
books.
I downloaded other books as well this morning and they loaded fine.
Is there something about O'Reilly books that would cause VR to overlook
them?
I'm getting desperate.
Please let me know if there's a way around this problem...
I can of course read the books in html, but I'd prefer having them in
VictorReader.
Also, is there another DAISY reader besides VictorReader? If so, where can
I get it?
