Hello,

this is not related to the message below, but it's easier. I noticed you're a skype user, and I need some experienced person to help me begin using Skype. Would you mind being a contact and helping me learn? Thanks in advance.

Subject: [bookshare-discuss] kurzweil question

Hi!
I have another kurzweil question. My uncle recently installed a scanner-fax-copier combo on my desktop computer and for some reason kurzweil will no longer
recognize the original Epson scanner that I have always used. I checked to be sure that my original Epson scanner was selected as the scanner source, tried
closing and reopening the program again, and shut down and restarted my computer.
Now when I press f9 to start a new scan I get an error message that says "the scanner cannot be detected. Please be sure that a scanner is properly installed.
Remember to switch on power to the scanner before the system"
Any other suggestions for solving this problem would be greatly appreciated! Mary
