Hi Dave,
I would be very glad to do Muhammad a biography of the Prophet. I have not
seen it on the list, otherwise i would have downloaded it. If you like you
can release it to me and once i am done proof reading it i can validate it
and you would get to read a cleaner copy.

Welcome to the list.
With your credentials and interest I probably should have left:
Muhammad A Biography of the Prophet ,
to you, as you could certainly do a more thorough job on it.
If you want to put it through the step 2 phase, just say so. I can always
release it and read it on my own.
As Cindy mentioned you may want to sign up for the volunteer list as
well, but as you say your time is short, you should probably get it in
digest mode since it can be a pretty high volume list.

name to the list of bookshare volunteers at the beginning of January. I
am a Professor
of Middle East history and politics at the University of Maryland and
Georgetown university. I am totally blind and an avid reader. Because I
do not have
a lot of free time at my disposal, I choose to submit or review for
validation, books which are somewhat related to my job. This way I would
be using
my volunteering time in the most efficient and beneficial way for myself
and for bookshare. No surprise then that all the books I reviewed for
validation
in the last few weeks were Middle East related.
I thoroughly read and proofread every book I submit or validate. I know
that it is not very efficient way of helping an organization which has
hundreds
of books awaiting scanning or validation, but it guarantees a high quality
turned in products.
I hope to learn more about this organization and its volunteers through
this list.
