I don't know how you access the screen, but if you have JAWS, you can hit insert-F7 and then the beginning letter of the name of the link you want and zoom past all that stuff you don't want to read. It will cycle through only those links beginning with that letter. Very fast. If you don't access the screen that way, then I don't know how you would do it.Evan----- Original Message ----- From: "rita weyler" <ritaweyler@xxxxxxxxxxx>To: <bookshare-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, September 10, 2007 6:18 AM Subject: [bookshare-discuss] Re: grateful for the changeI don't like it. However, if I don't have to go all the way down the page to get to search I'll deal with it. I hate reading all that volun teer stuff if that is not what I am looking forat the moment.Rita Rita----- Original Message ----- From: "Evan Reese" <mentat1@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>To: <bookshare-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, September 09, 2007 11:11 PM Subject: [bookshare-discuss] Re: grateful for the changeActually, I like getting sent to the Volunteer Home page when I log in and I hope they don't change it. It seems that I can do a search for a title just as easily from there as from anywhere else.Evan----- Original Message ----- From: "Grandma Cindy" <popularplace@xxxxxxxxx>To: <bookshare-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, September 09, 2007 7:42 PM Subject: [bookshare-discuss] Re: grateful for the changeIt seems to me I get sent to the Volunteer Home page, too, and I think it's deliberate. That's where you can check the Books in Process list and get to the Wish list sites. On my screen the other things, like download and upload and Browse books are on the right-hand margin. I don't know where they can be found for the nonsighted. Cindy --- Evan Reese <mentat1@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote:Hmmm, I just logged in a moment ago and got sent to the Volunteer Home page. I wonder what's going on. I was bounced to the volunteer page any time I loged in after that. I found this extremely annoying. I am so glad that has been changed. It is wonderful not to end up on the volunteer page every time I log in when all I want to do is see if we have a book title or download a book. Thanks lots for fixing that problem .
