I tried that but somehow, because I have an older Braille Note, I couldn't read the file. I'm not giving up yet. The info I did get though was from Humanware so I guess that's pretty reliable. Thanks though. I'll have to see what happens if I tried to read it with the computer because maybe then somehow I can find a work around. I'm not that computer literate even with the number of years I've been using one. You know, I use what I know but am sure willing to learn. ----- Original Message ----- From: <talmage@xxxxxxxxxx>

Not knowing anything about Braille Notes, I have to ask, can't you download the book to your computer, unzip it, and move it to the Braille Note?Dave At 09:40 PM 1/24/2009, you wrote:I tried to download that same book into my braillenote but the problem is, I have an older one as I think I've stated here before. I got a message saying I could go to another site: static.legacy.bookshare.org but that book and many others weren't there that I found on the new site. I wanted to read that book as well.I'm interested in Ireland and it's history, especially looking for a book about Michael Collins. Does anyone have a suggestion?-Diane ----- Original Message ----- From: "Rick Roderick" <rickrod@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <bookshare-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, January 24, 2009 5:06 PM Subject: [bookshare-discuss] browse more difficultHello everyone,I decided to get the book An Involuntary King by Nan Hawthorne. It took longer than I think it should have. Instead of search, I decided to use Browse Authors. When I got there, instead of getting the whole list of authors starting with H, or whatever letter I clicked on, I got 100 named. After clicking Next several times, I got there.I would like to have a way of getting all the authors under a letter.I like a lot of things about the new site, the use of centered headings and easy classification of things, but that is an improvement that would make things less time-consuming.
