Bookshare books for the present are not narrated by humans. NLS BARD
BOOKS are the books narrated by live people. Something like a
computer and a screen-reader, or something like the voice dream reader
app must be used to read/listen to the bookshare titles. This really
isn't a bad thing as the TTS voices available are very good. If you
want to purchase voices on voice dream reader, they are $5 per voice
which isn't a bad price. Like
Alan said, if you want to listen to your bookshare books with
synthetic speech, you can request that an mp3 daisy audio copy be
made. Ivona Kendra is the voice that is used. She is a synthetic
speech voice.

Thanks for looking. I'm surprised that they don't have it, but it isn't
worth waiting around for another version. I've already read 4 hours of it
so
I'll tolerate the rest. The narrator is Marilyn Buzzard, an old NLS
narrator. She just keeps sort of over dramatizing it and changing the
volume
to coincide with her over excited portions.
