James Joyce's Ulyses was banned for a number of years as was Tropic of
Cancer whose author escapes me at the moment. I don't know why Ulyses was
banned because no one could understand it without a sentence by sentence
interpretation. As for The Tropic of Cancer, yuck is all I can say!
