I broke down and bought a DVD player last Christmas for that particular
reason.  Now, have learned how the bugger works, somewhat.

Smile.  Still need to get oriented to the remote.

We still have way more books on tape than CD's, but I
think you're right, Monica, that the trend is
changing. The CD shelves are gradually getting fuller
and our librarians are pulling some of the tapes
books.

Unfortunately, the same is true for videos vis-a-vis
DVD's. Still many, many people don't have DVD players,
yet more and more movies are coming out in that format
and not video or both.
