Just submitted another Star Trek: the Original Series novel, called "In the
Name of Honor." I don't have the book jacket info, but a simple version of the
plot is that Captain Kirk goes on a secret mission into Klingon space to rescue
survivors from a Klingon attack who've spent the last decade or so in a Klingon
prison, working a dilithium mine. All this as the Federation and Klingons hold
a summit for peace negotiations.
The story takes place between the movies Star Trek V: the Final Frontier and
Star Trek VI: the Undiscovered Country, and gives a lot of character insight.
It's particularly good if you're fairly familiar with the original show,
because there are lots of references to other episodes. Still, if you're not,
it shouldn't hamper your enjoyment of the story.
