Hi, everyone! Well, I made a rare trip to the library yesterday and stocked
up. <Smile> Three of the thirteen books I got were the Orphan Trains
Trilogy, written by Al and JoAnna Lacy. The first one was submitted by
another volunteer, but when I validated it, I found it to be of poor
quality. It is now awaiting validation with an accuracy rate of 100%, once
I ignored all the dialect and proper names. By the way, one of the
characters is a small boy who stutters and lisps when he talks. Makes
things interesting with speech! <Smile>
Here's the info from the back cover:
WYOMING, 1874. Mary, Johnny, and Lizzie Marston-along with sixty other
children-line the platform at the Cheyenne train station as Dan and Clara
Forbes and other locals contemplate taking one child home to a new life.
Will they be separated? Will they be wanted? Will the West offer a better
life than the one they left behind- or worse?

Faith and fear battle in the hearts of those who have something to give-and
possibly everything to gain-from losses that seem almost beyond bearing.

Best-selling author AL LACY has written more than ninety historical and
western

novels, including those in the Angel of Mercy, Battles of Destiny, and
Journeys of the Stranger series. JOANNA LACY is his wife and longtime
collaborator, as well as coauthor of the Hannah of Fort Bridger, Shadow of
Liberty, and Mail Order Bride series. The Lacys make their home in the Rocky
Mountains of Colorado.

Enjoy!
