You don't need a password. Just type in your user name and it can be your name if you wish.

Subject: [bookshare-discuss] Password for community room

All,

I downloaded the Talkcom plugin, and then tried to enter the community room,
but it then asks for a user ID and password. I assumed these would be the
same as my Bookshare membership ID and password, but an error message came
up saying the password was wrong.

Where does one get a password for the community room?

Thanks,
Brian Miller

Subject: [bookshare-discuss] Rick Roderick Kicks Off Non-Fiction Book Club
Wednesday, October 3, 2007

Attention Non-Fiction Book Lovers!

Are you interested in all kinds of nonfiction? Would you like to explore
the world of thought, the lives of others, and even works of great
literature?

Join us on Wednesday, October 3 at 9:00 PM Eastern for the opening of the
nonfiction book club in the Friends of Bookshare.org chat room at:

http://conference321.com/masteradmin/room.asp?id=rs7867a2369e0e

My thought is that we will read primarily biographies, books about
science,
or anything else that we might select. My idea is that as far as politics
is concerned, we will read books from a wide variety of points of view.
That way, we will all be in our comfort zones, and discomfort zones, at
different times.

In the opening session, we will not discuss a specific book but will talk
about what people want to read and expound upon.

Come one, come all! Let's have a good time and good discussions!

Rick Roderick
