Is this more than just a scanner? Can you use it with openbook as well as kurtswile? I get the edge book thing. Is there anyother way it differs from any off the shelf scanner? ----- Original Message ----- From: jnuttallphd@xxxxxxxxxxxxx

When I purchased mine I had to contact the company directly. Plustek

cost for Plustek 3600 is $299.

Where did you purchase your Opticbook, and if you don't mind my asking, how
 much did it cost?

Also, how fast does it scan?
 Thanks,
