Ah, but that is the beauty of a truly good children's book, one that we can
reread, and reread and learn new and exciting things each time.
If everything is self evident, the first time you read it, it wouldn't be a
"classic" now would it, smile.
Frankinstein was another that I was so happy to read in high school for the
first time.

I agree, and in some cases I have noticed that some concepts are a bit
above children's heads.
Take the Chronicles Of Narnia, yes they are supposedly kids books, but I
have read and re-read that series and each time I see something new.
There a lot of books that I think should be classified Family books not
Children, smile.
