Hi all,

Interesting post, I hope I kept it. I like historical fiction too. Might I suggest some old favorites of mine? Dunnow if you can find them on Bookshare, but you might put them on a book list. For modern authors, any of the Thoene (pronounced Tay-nee) books. Also try Malachi Martin's King of Kings about King David. For older authors try Taylor Coldwell's Dear And Glorious Physician or Great Lion of God. Also hmmmm, The Robe by Douglas. If you're looking for Americana, try Conrad Richter and Alexander Thom. Of course there's always Ben Herr. Now if you want non-Christian or at least books that are historical and aren't necessarily of a Christian bent, try Wilber Smith or Christian Jacq. Pearl Buck comes to mind as well. L'Amour wrote a wonderful historical novel about the 10th century, the Walking Drum.
