I'm going nuts here and need help Hi everyone, I really apologize for this e-mail, but I'm going out of my mind and I'm hoping someone on this mailing list can help me out in any way possible. Just some background infor: For a while I've been interested in a few ebooks on a particular website. I'd never bought an ebook before, so was very leery. Especailly since two of them came in PDF format. While I haven't had pleasant experiences with PDF, I've done okay. Anyway, so this morning I took a chance and purchase the books. Well, I've been spending practically all day trying to figure out why Jaws won't read them. According to a couple of websites that talked about using screen readers with Adobe, I should be able to read it. However, that hasn't been the case. I'm pretty sure the file is opening, but no matter what I do, I can't seem to read the file. I followed as much as I could of the websites FAQ stuff and I believe I have the right Adobe, but I just can't read it! The books didn't cost me that much, but I would hate to think that I paid money for something that I can't enjoy. I've already e-mailed the website, but as it's Sunday, they won't be responding until at the very least Monday. I'm too nuts over this situation to wait, which is why I'm e-mailing the list. Has anyone had experiences like mine? Did they ever get past them? Or am I just out of luck? I'll say thanks in advance. And if anyone wants to e-mail me privately, my e-mail is lemina007@xxxxxxxxxxx Thanks, Natalie
