I am very interested in having a guide dog, but I have five cats and one huge dog. I am not sure my other babies would be happy about receiving a new sibling. I don't mind the messes...that is what hubby and kiddo are for. *L*

My dog's name is Turnpike...we found him in the middle of the Turnpike.  I
don't have a guide dog, but I am seriously considering applying for one.

Ah, most people can't remember Guinevere, and they kept messing up Judson, 
calling him things like jackson, jason and the like, smile so never had
that
problem.

My dog is "rover" however, when people in the public are intrusive and
invading my space and privacy or just won't take "know" for an answer.

I like that name.  It is different but it is one I could get used to.
Names
that are different can have an advantage.  People might not understand
what
you  have said  when  you are giving a command.  You're long gone by the
time they figure it out.  I don't like people to know my dog's name.   I
gave her an alias.  I have had people call my dog when I am trying to go
down the street.

Aziza, a tiny, 45 lbs yellow labrador, but she is changing it to Aviva,
which meas spring in Hebrew, apparently aziza means strong.
