My mother was reading an article in our Smithsonian, which said, that Jules
Vern and H.G. Wells' literature, is going to be retranslated, as the
original translators took quite a few liberties, with the text, leaving out
references to Darwinism, and life in London at that time, which from the
article was quite unpleasant.

Just passing on the tidbit and wondering if anyone else has heard of this?

The vision must be followed by the venture. It is not enough to
stare up the steps - we must step up the stairs.
