My mother was reading an article in our Smithsonian, which said, that Jules Vern and H.G. Wells' literature, is going to be retranslated, as the original translators took quite a few liberties, with the text, leaving out references to Darwinism, and life in London at that time, which from the article was quite unpleasant.
