I have just recently opened a gmail account and I was having my messages forwarded from my other account to that gmail account. Apparently a number of my replies to the group were lost because I am unfamiliar with handling replies under those circumstances. At least one of those replies was a rather extensive email of philosophical musings and I do not now have the will to retype it. I have now unsubscribed with my other address and subscribed again with this gmail address. I hope my reply will post this time. Despite my reluctance to retype all that was lost I do want to repeat a reply I made to E. It went like this: My point was that fiction does not equal falseness and nonfiction does not equal truth, so there should be no problem with classifying religious books as nonfiction if it was the intention of the author that they be nonfiction. Books classified as fiction should be a story with a plot and narrative without regard to whether they were written from a religious point of view or not. With that said I do admit to veering off topic. I do that by replying to a message to which I have a reply in whatever way it seems appropriate. If I am replied to in return that can lead to radically off-topic discussions.
