Hi Little Cat. or Lisa,

Here is pretty much how I do bookshare files.

Depending on the version of Keysoft you have I have keysoft 5.1.

First, of all, keysoft 5.1 or 5.0 can open .bks files easily so, don't worry
about renaming them.

Just copy the unpacked book to the Braillenote.

Then when you hit enter on the file, when attempting to "open" it, it will
ask for your user password, type that in, I advise head phones, or no speech
as it says it out loud, and then, wellah, you can read to your hearts
content.

For older versions.
1. Download the .Braille version of the book.
2. unpack the book using the Bookshare unpack utility.
3. Copy the unpacked .brf file to your braillenote either through active
sinc, or a compact flash card if you have one of those.
4. Open the file using Keyword, or the Book Reader, just as you would any
other file.

Hope this helps.

The vision must be followed by the venture. It is not enough to
stare up the steps - we must step up the stairs.
