Safety Tips for Blind Individuals, Part 2

The Accessible World News Wire February 28, 2008, Indianapolis, Indiana USA

Accidents and acts of violence occur in all environments, and it is
generally believed that there is an abundance of information available to
address such issues. That is unless you are blind. Then, the availability of
quality information is extremely scarce. The upcoming Books and Beyond
Internet talk show, sponsored by the Accessible World, will focus on this
issue and provide valuable information to help us prepare for and act wisely
when danger strikes, especially in the home and everyday life.

Hostess Bonnie Blose will talk with Frank Casey of Albany, New York who has been employed many years in emergency services, first as an emergency radio
dispatcher for Albany County and then as Telecommunications Supervisor in
the Albany County Sheriff's Department's Enhanced 9-1-1 Center. Don't miss
this unique opportunity to learn from an expert how to increase safety
awareness for yourself and your loved ones.
