Are you sure that your regional library doesn't have an arrangement with
Bookshare which provides its patrons with free memberships?

Subject: [bookshare-discuss] Financial help for renewing my membership.
Once again, it is time for me to renew my book share membership. I waited until
the very last minute hoping that perhaps I would have some financial resources
myself, but, unfortunately, once again, that did not happen.
I think there is a proper way to do this, so I’m hoping that someone will tell
me the steps that I do have to take to see if someone will have extra credits
to be able to help me renew my membership.
