I have never been able to adapt to Samantha on my Victor Reader Stream, not ever, and I've had it for a couple of years now. But this is the only voice I have not been able to get used to fairly quickly.
I love the voices that came with my Read2Go app for my iPod, heather and Brian I think they are called. I just wish it had more options to choose from, like a couple of British voices. Just because I'm in the US doesn't mean I might not like to have a British based book read with that type of voice once in a while. But for the computer, I prefer either Neospeech Paul or Kate, depending on the book.
