Yes, the Book Port is sold through APH, and yes, the Book Currior is slightly cheeper and also gives the discount for k1k owners or Bookshare members. Even with the difference in money though, , I preferred and bought the Book Port instead. It has a few more features which I wanted. You however may not care for the features, so in fact may be better off buying the other. Oh yes, before you decide I'll also say that you can use the k1k discount or the bookshare discount, but you cannot use both if you prefer to buy the currier.
Just thoughts.. no endorsements..

I remember there beeing a discount for either book port or book currier, for
beeing a member of Bookshare or owning Kurzweil 1000, if someone knowes
which one and how much please let me know. I think you buy Book port from
APH, is that correct?
