Do you find the case a worthy accessory?

You will be pleased with how the BP handles Audio. Also... you might be interested in a case for the bookport. That link is:

The phone number for Executive Products is: 866-833-1444.

HI Casandra,

First, I am Nicki Keck and I am also anxiously awaiting my Book Port to come to me. I ordered it March 11, but I know they are back ordered right now, I do believe. I joined this list to get any info as a heads-up and to be prepared when I get it. Can you tell I am anxious? Anyway, when I get my book Port, I will be putting materials into it from bookshare.org and NLS Web Braille, as well as etext books that are in the public domain. I use a Braille Lite right now, but it only has 18 cells, and so reading can be slower with it. I don't like the speech with it and would rather read in Braille. Plus if I want to go to the hairdresser, say, and then go shopping, well the Braille Lite you have to take a bag or something to put it in because it won't fit in a purse. So the book Port will also be handy for this application as well. I use a Handicassette II to read cassette books. I hope this was not too much information, and I hope it helps.

I will also download pod casts to my book Port, etc. I am anxiously awaiting how well it does with audio.

First, I must apologize if any of you have seen a variation of this question on any other lists. I will be making a presentation about how blind people access printed materials to a class at Utah State University, on April 7. I AM TALKING about everything from NFB Newsline, to bookshare, and everything else. I hope I will have my bookport by then, so I can demonstrate. I already have tons of materials to put in the bookport. I am wondering where you guys get your materials to read on the bookport? What web sites do you use to download books or newspapers? Where else do you get your material? By the way, if someone can hurry my unit out to me, I would appreciate it. Thanks.
