We have installed the BookPort and BookWizard software from the CD and
all the RFBD authorizations, but cannot get the BookWizard to upgrade
from demo status.
How do we do that?

Hi, Joni.
First, what you should transfer to the BP is the OPF file. Make
sure
you have the latest release version of Book Wizard Reader if you're
using
the releases, and the latest beta version of that program if you're
using
any beta.=20
As for what purpose the files serve, the Daisy specification
will
give you all the info you could ever want on that
        http://www.daisy.org/publications/specifications/daisy_202.html=20
BTW, keep in mind that the Bookshare unpacker gives you the
ability
to make one HTML file out of the Daisy book. You can send this HTML file
to
the BP if you find it difficult to send the Daisy text. =20

Subject: [bookport] Daisy format

I have only used the brf formats so far at Bookshare. I decided to try
the
Daisy format but I don't understand my results.

After unpacking a book I have these five files:

revstd.css 10 KB Cascading Style Sh... 1/2/2005 10:55 AM

Riptide_f1.ncx 151 KB NCX File 1/2/2005 10:55 AM

Riptide_f1.opf 1 KB DTBook.Document 1/2/2005 10:55 AM

Riptide_f1.smil 495 KB SMIL Multimedia Pre... 1/2/2005 10:55 AM

Riptide_f1.xml 847 KB XML Document 1/2/2005 10:55 AM

What should I transfer to the Book Port to get the book? Why does this
format unpack into four files and what purpose do they serve?

Joni
