Walt, I thought you could copy text files into the notes folder on the BP.
I think I've done this but I'm not 100% certain.

You could never copy text files directly to the CF card. You have always
been able to copy MP3 files directly.

Thanks for the info. I eventually tried the transfer software and the files
were usable. I am almost certain that at one point you could just copy txt
files into bookport with no problem. Obviously that isn't the case.
