Hi.
I copied the files off the cf card onto my pc using a card reader, and then
reformatted the card.
I copied the files back, but the bookport starts witht he fs memory stuff as
soon as I insert the card.
I tried doing it again, but this time, I said not to overwrite the existing
files that the reformat put on the card, with the same result.
one of the files I am copying back must be corrupt.
If I do reformat the card, how do I get the manual back on the card so
the bookport will recognize it?

This is usually a solution of last resort, but you could try reformatting the card in your BP by pressing the four corner keys, 1, 3, d, and f, and then pressing them again when asked to verify.

I am attempting to installe the 2.2 update. I connect the bookport, run bookport transport. it informs me that there is an update available. I select yes, and it downloads the update. it then says it has sent the firmware update to the bookport and to disconnect for the update to be installed. when I disconnect the usb cable, the bookport says version 2.1 and then says fs memory out of drobj structores. error accessing index file. I have tried using a different usb port on my computer, and I have also tried doing a reset ont he bookport and removing the batteries. no matter what I press, it will not work.
