Yes, I'm finding that more and more commercial shopping sites label their
buttons so that I'm getting the site of the choice rather than the label of
the button. These arcane entries are impossible to decode and quite
lengthy. Can't do all my shopping on line without assistance from a sighted
person.

This seems to be quite true. The new Audible Manager is--well, different,
to say the least.

And here I'd like to bring up a disturbing point. As one who does all my
holiday shopping online, I've noticed that the majority of web sites are
becoming every bit as confusing as Audible's new one. I fear that future
screen reader upgrades have a tough challenge ahead of them, and this may
well be our only real hope. Even if Audible does something retro and helps
us out, so many, many other sites are quickly becoming all but inaccessible
again. JAWS 7.0 has done a great job in many respects, especially in their
use of MSAA, but it seems we're heading quickly into uncharted territory
with regard to the Internet. My skills at surfing are pretty good in that I

eventually get the job done almost all the time, but I'm being challenged of

late to exert myself to a distressing degree in order to merely keep up.
I'd be quite interested to know if the rest of you are feeling the pinch as
well. Feel free to let me know, perhaps privately. As the saying goes,
"misery loves company," and I'd like to know that I'm not the only one who's

really struggling these days.
