Bill:

I'd be interested to know if you find less Braille Translation errors with the
latest Beta transfer, because they've really been working on that. Of course,
if you're not running the Beta, then you'll have to keep doing what you're
doing, until we release it.

Increasingly, I use the BP as a very portable note-taker. It'd be more
convenient to have a little speaker when using this mode, but to me, this is
one of the really nice features of the BP.
On another though related topic:
I'm not a computer wiz by any stretch, but I have done quite a bit of writing
fixes for common scanning errors. I n my possible ignorance, it seems to me
that fixing the overwhelming number of back translation errors we deal with
should (that's the operative word) be relatively simple and straight forward.

Does anybody know if APH is actively pursuing this, or do any of you have
macros you run say in Word that you'd be willing to share?

Hi.

Springer Design made the Book Courier, which is very similar to the Book
Port. The Book Port has some features that are especially valuable to blind
users, such as braille back-translation.
