With audio files, as long as you have started to play the file, the flash card
space is given when the bookport is in idle mode. I know that with a text file
you have to be playing the file, but not with audio files.

Hope this helps.

  Subject: [bookport] suggestion for improvement

  Hello once more:

In reading the posts to the list on determining free space on the flash card,
it seems that a key sequence might be considered to "ask" the unit to give you
the free space while in "idle" mode. It seems one can only retrieve this
information while a file is playing, or when using the transfer tool?

Thank you for considering my suggestion.
