I have found that if I place my bp in a bag where the buttons fall into a
position where they are constantly held down then the bp tends to make no
sound for a moment then it states that there is no aplication. I have been
able to remedy this by removing the cf card, waiting until it beeps and then
replacing the card.

You might try doing a Reset with 2 plus b to see if that helps. Have
you tried a different card? If that doesn't help, can you be more
specific about the beeps? You could certainly send it in for repair,
but you might not want to be without the unit for all of it's other
uses, unless you do a lot of recordings.

I believe I've asked this before but am going to try again. When I
record a memo on the bp there is a small beep in the recording. Another
friend of mine doesn't have that problem. How can I get the beep to go
away?
