I have a suggestion. What about having a context menu item for auditable.com books that would allow you to send a rage of a book to = the Book Port? If I sent an audible.com book to the Book Port and there is space on the CF card for it but there is very little space on the CF = card after the book is sent, there may not be enough space to record memos or create notes. Basically, I am trying to reserve space for notes and = memos.=20 Jim King -----Original Message----- From: bookport-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx = [mailto:bookport-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of ROB MEREDITH Sent: Friday, March 18, 2005 10:49 AM To: bookport@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [bookport] Re: select audio book range dialog No. You are sending a book which is then unknown to the Book Port, and = you will not get the dialog if there is room. You may be asking why we never give the dialog if there is room. In = short, you would not be able to send several Audible.com files automatically if = the software was constantly stopping between each file to prompt for a = range. The dialog you get = =3D depends on which type of book you are sending. An MP3 file which happens to be a audio book is, of course, sent as an = =3D MP3 file. In the case of an Audible.com book, no dialog is given if the entire =3D = book will fit on the card. If you resend an Audible.com book which is already = =3D on the card, the dialog will appear to let you specify which part of the = =3D book (by time only) to send. Rob Meredith >>> jim_king@xxxxxxxxxxxx 03/18/05 09:43AM >>> When does the "select audio book range" dialog appear? According to = =3D the manual, it should appear when an audio book is selected. I selected = an audio book from the file list and the transfer program immediately =3D = started sending the book to the Book Port. Although there was enough space on = =3D the CF card for the book, I did not want to send the entire book to the Book Port. What should I do differently? =3D20 Jim King =3D20
