I have to agree with Don here. I usually just want the percentage, but sometimes I want the other stats. I like the idea of have 8 with one beep simply give me the file size and creation date. I would also like to see a modification in the firmware that would tell me how much free space I have on a compact flash card. I know you can find this out when the device is connected to a Pc, but I'd like a way to find out right from the Bookport. Thanks. -----Original Message----- From: bookport-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:bookport-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Barrett, Don Sent: Wednesday, September 15, 2004 8:42 AM To: bookport@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [bookport] Re: question and suggestion Most of the time, people want one or the other, not both. -----Original Message----- From: bookport-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:bookport-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Chris G Sent: Wednesday, September 15, 2004 7:22 AM To: bookport@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [bookport] Re: question and suggestion hi, i disagree about the 8 key. leave it as is. if i want all info, and i know i want all info, i'm just going to hit = =3D the 8=3D3D for one beep. if i wanted the % in your suggestion, i would need to hit =3D 8,=3D3D then hold 8 for one beep to get the rest.
