No, there is no provision for this. It's been on most people's lists of
desired new features, though.

Hi,
I have just joined this list after obtaining a Book Port recently. The
device is proving to be fantastic but have a question.
Is it possible to set up a pronunciation dictionary for the Book Port's
builtin synthesiser similar to that used by screen readers? As I like to
readNewspapers of a financial nature,it would be great to have
abbreviations and company codes spoken correctly.
After having the unit only a short time, I am now wondering how I survived
so long without it.
