Remember that when using a command line, you can enclose the file name/extension inside double quotes and you are not stuck with the 8x3 scheme. For example, here's a simple copy command that I just made up--modify accordingly: copy "my file that is a book.text" MyBook.txt ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kevin Jones" <kevin@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: <bookport@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, October 14, 2005 8:16 AM Subject: [bookport] problems with bookport transfer Problems with th ebookport transfer tool. 1 when using the command line, it only supports the old 8.3 dos file scheme. 2 if you cue an audio file the transfer doesn't process the file immediately only waiting on the sending part. This could be a huge time saver, then when you plugin the bookport you only have to wait for the file to be sent. Kevin
