There needs to be an additional step in those directions that isn't obvious to someone who isn't looking for it. Between steps 3 and 4, you need to press F6 to get to the list view on the right. -----Original Message----- From: bookport-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:bookport-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of boomerdad Sent: Wednesday, August 17, 2005 12:42 PM To: bookport@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [bookport] Re: [other] Re: problem connecting Bookport I tried following those instructions and my control panel isn't laid out the same way. There's no check box to change the drive letter. A friend told me the documentation seems to have been written with Windows XP Pro in mind rather than Windows XP Home, but since I've never seen Windows XP Pro, I can only shrug. I just know the instructions don't fit what I see on my screen. In fact, I've looked through properties and tried all kinds of things, but I can't seem to find a method of changing the drive letter. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Robert Carter" <r-carter@xxxxxxx> To: <bookport@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, August 17, 2005 8:33 AM Subject: [bookport] Re: [other] Re: problem connecting Bookport > Hi, > > The most common reason in my experience for the transfer software not to > be showing the Book Port is because there is a drive letter conflict.
