I have accomplished the task, but I did make two calls to RFB&D and one to
APH before I got there. Here is what I learned.

First, as you noted, you must install or register the program using the CD
from RFB&D. To do this, you must click on the link on the page that
indicates it will take you to a RFB&D registration cite. This site will
give you a machine code and a 16 digit key. The key is case sensitive,
which meant in my case that the alphabetic characters were upper case. You
then go back to the page on which the earlier link was and enter your name
(probably your social security number) and the key. The social does not use
dashes, but the key does. Follow the rest of the instructions. You should
also have received a pin number with your registration CD. This must be
entered to open the digital books from RFB&D with BWR or to transfer to the
BP.

Second, with the BP connected, you go to the drive on which the CD is
located, hit enter and tab to take you to the file list. You cannot send
the HTML files as you will get only one or two lines per page. You must go
the file called NCC with some extension. There is only one file called NCC.
Hit enter. This will place you in a page by page listing with two tabs.
The chapters titles are indicated. The first tab reflects the starting
point from which data will be sent to the BP. Once you have determined the
starting point, hit tab. The page that reflects the maximum that can be
sent to the BP will be indicated. You may move to an earlier page, but not
to a later page by hitting up arrow or page up, the increments being
different. Once you have established the range, click okay. The sending
process begins. You will be asked to enter your pin number at this point.
The transfer will take some time if you are sending a large portion of the
book.

One other note. For the operations in the first step, the main enter key,
rather than the num pad enter key must be used. I don't remember now if it
is also necessary for the second step. Hope this helps.
