If you can track it down to a particular book, then resend that book
using the transfer tool. The message means one of your text files is
corrupted. If you can't track it down to a particular book, then deleete
all books in the afflicted directory and resend them. If that's too
tedius, reformat and send all data again.
Techniques for tracking down a particular book:

Using the directory keys, navigate up to the root directory of your
flash card by using the *0 key combination. Next, use the # or * keys
until you find the directory you usually have trouble in. Descend into
that directory using the 0# key combination. Now, press and hold the * key
until you hear a beep. This will place you on the first file in the
directory. Press the 2 key to start the reading process. If this works,
press the 2 key to stop reading. Now, press the # key to move to the next
file. Note the name of the file you move to. Then, press the 2 key to
try reading that one. If it works, stop Bookport again and repeat the next
file key action and try again. Eventually, you'll come to the book which,
when you start to read, will give you that funny message rather than the
text of the book.
Once you've located the offending book, plug the Bookport into your
computer and resend that one with the transfer utility. If you like, you
can use Explorer to delete the book from your flash card first.
I'll bet this fixes you right up.
